I got 10 weeks till I graduate college.
6 years later.
$1000 worth of alcohol, just an estimate.
50 pounds later.
Alot of experience under my belt:
Assistant to Promotions Director for WCLN,
Part-Time Air Talent for WLNC for almost 4 years,
Camera and Production Assistant for NBA TV,
Production Crew for WNCP TV; Director for Live Sports, Lumberton Parade and RCC Today,
Student Sales Director for WNCP.
Its been a train ride and coming to an end soon.

For those who are clueless, he is a regular commentator on the "I love the..." series on VH1/
He has been on Jay Leno and Daily Show as a regular correspondant. He had a show on Animal Planet.

ookay interesting situation
1. I am casted in a play Our Town, I got quite a number of small parts which is awesome. But if I continue to do that I will lose hours at the radio station, and make a small pay check. I have a responsibility to both. Its a matter of loyalty to both. The director is willing to work with my schedule but there will be weeks when I need completely off. Kind of funny, I work so har at WLNC and when I need little breaks for the next couple of months, it might not happen. I hardly ever get breaks.

I am telling you, my last year will be awesome.
I have already started on my work study assignment. I have to make a 60 sec. commercial for the GPAC of there upcoming concerts to be on the school station.
I am pretty much over you know who. Conversations and hangouts are different, not bad though.

Goals I set for my last year at UNCP
1. WNCP The Hawk, the schools internet radio station.
2. Live Sports up and running, especially for the football team coming in 07. My advisor left, so the department chair has imparted this responsiblity on me to teach the instructor and students.
3. Get invovled with media sales for the television station.
4. Start dating again. And get my mind off you know who, which I come to the conclusion will never work out.
5. Look for a career and be out of here by July.
6. Workout like crazy, looks are everything in the business. My internship told me to call them after I graduate.
7. Save up for a vacation after I graduate. Places I have in mind Australia and Floria.

I thought certain things would depress me for teh rest of my college career. But I finally feel things are going the way they should. God has opened up a bunch of doors for me. And its amazing how these oppurtunities are going to impact my senior year and my career. I lately had a career change. Previously I wanted to do on air radio but that has changed to an account executive. But based on the word of other professionals in the field I been taking the right steps all along in leading to both careers.

I had the most fantastic weekend. And I needed it.
|

Ok summer is beyond greatest now.
I have the coolest internship in Fayetteville at Christian 107.3fm. I am telling you this place is perfect to really work on my public relations and broadcast experience. I am currently in the process of helping with some important promotions for the future. These are big public relations campiagns for the station and its sponsers. I am currently getting more information to formulate a proposal to present to the general manager with all my ideas.
My experience on radio has been very valued at this station, especially with editing audio for future broadcast. All I have to do is drive to fayetteville 2-3 days a week and work 5 hours a day. Its its the coolest experience ever and worth the drive.

Summer is ok so far. I start my internship next week which will be fuckin rad. I am takin the easiest and coolest class for summer, Photojournalism.
I maybe roadtripin somewhere soon depends on funds and if its relal worth it based on certain people.

I think its funny how I am stuck here another year after my intended graduation year. I am on the Van Wilder plan. I am pretty pleased at how far I have gone as far with school. Despite some people bringing me down all I can say its fuck that, I don't need to invovle myself in there selfishness.
So pretty much this summer is about me doing electives and completeing more classes within my major, I basically have 18 hours to graduate but some of these classes are only offered during certain semesters so I stuck here till Spring 07 which isn't bad.

Saint Patricks day.
Fuckin awesome. I love Irish Car Bomb night with the boys. I bought so much guiness.
Irish Car Bombs like there is no tomorrow with my favoritest Jenny Sweet Booty and Hannah Sexy Ass. I love thsoe girls. They drank like champs.
Drunk dialing with Miss Lexie which is a tradition when we are both trashed.
